Tikanga Ora Reo Ora

Tikanga Ora Reo Ora is the Waikato-Tainui Maaori language strategy that was developed through a combined effort with Waikato-Tainui kaumaatua and the tribe’s Reo Advisory Group. It sets a clear objective – that 80% of Waikato-Tainui iwi members will be fluent in our tribal reo and tikanga by 2050

Ko Te Reo Kaapuia he waananga reo maa ngaa kaiako o roto o te rohe o Waikato-Tainui e hiahia ana ki te whakawhanake i oo raatou puukenga whakaako i te reo Maaori. Ka whakahaerehia teenei waananga reo e ngaa maatanga reo a Paania Papa raaua ko Leon Heketu Blake, ka mutu, ko te wetewete reo, ko ngaa waahi whakahirahira o te Kiingitanga ngaa kaupapa ako.

Te Reo Kaakaho

Te Reo Kaakaho: a unique waananga Reo for tribal members that affiliate to the 68 Marae and the 33 hapuu of Waikato-Tainui. The core aim of this Waananga is to build fluency in Te Reo o Tainui for those with little to moderate level of Reo.
